Live Arrival Guarantee
Coastal Beastie takes reasonable care to pack and dispatch livestock and corals safely.
Live Arrival Guarantee may apply only where Coastal Beastie has expressly confirmed that the product and delivery route are eligible.
Conditions
To qualify for any live-arrival consideration:
- The shipment must have been approved for live-animal courier delivery.
- The customer must be available to receive the parcel on the first delivery attempt.
- Any issue must be reported immediately on arrival.
- Clear photos and/or video must be sent via WhatsApp to 067 225 8911 on the same day of delivery.
- Packaging must not be discarded before Coastal Beastie has reviewed the claim.
- The customer must follow reasonable acclimation procedures.
Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply where loss or damage is caused by:
- Missed delivery.
- Incorrect delivery details.
- Delayed collection.
- Customer unavailability.
- Courier delays outside Coastal Beastie’s control.
- Extreme weather.
- Poor acclimation.
- Unsuitable aquarium conditions.
- Aggression from existing livestock.
- Pest, disease, or parasite introduction after delivery.
- Stress, colour change, polyp retraction, or normal shipping response.
Coastal Beastie may offer store credit, replacement, partial credit, or no remedy, depending on the circumstances. Cash refunds are not guaranteed for livestock.
